Version 5.0.3 (May 2026)
Version 5.0.3 comes with the following enhancements:
- The AWS Instance Metadata Service (IMDS) has been updated to version 2 (IMDSv2).
- You can configure NTP servers via user data at initial deployment. (configUserData.json file)
- New! configUserData-upgrade.json file. When upgrading the AMI of the CSC, you can pass the previous configuration values via user data using the content of the configUserData-upgrade.json file. This functionality is convenient for people deploying and upgrading the CSC using Terraform.
- Base OS upgraded to Ubuntu Server 24.04
- Solved some minor bugs and cosmetic changes.
Version 2.0.3 (November 2024)
The version 2.0.3 has the following enhancements.
- New! Outbound Firewall (Advanced NAT Gateway). The CSC PriCPA now has the Outbound Firewall function for public traffic direct to the Internet. This functionality replaces the requirements of NAT Gateways when connecting to the Internet. In contrast to NAT Gateways, the Outbound Firewall functionality provides granular policies allowing or denying traffic to the Internet. The Outbound FW functionality allows all ports and protocols.
- New! NetScanner. You can find hosts (and protocols/ports) on the subnets "behind the CSC". ("Networks" defined in the PriCPA Peers JSON file).
- The Admin Menu was rearranged to look similar to the Admin Menu of the CSC family of Cloud Security Connectors for SSE vendors.
- This version fixed other cosmetic changes and minor bugs.
